The Grand Council of Feudal Lords and Barons

The Grand Council of Feudal Lords and Barons (the "FLB") is a non-profit-making, non-commercial, member based organisation which aims to educate and engage the public with all aspects of feudal and mediaeval life, especially as it was administered at a local level. Rather than focus on Kings, Queens and great national conflicts, we are interested in the realities of life for the majority of people at the time - local landowners and magnates influencing, controlling and managing their estates. We welcome everyone with an interest in the history of England from the unification of the regional kingdoms through to the end of the Plantagenet dynasty.

The Grand Council of Feudal Lords and Barons aims to

• act as a common voice for Lords of the Manor and Barons
  
• provide a networking opportunity for prominent citizens to
• develop their business and social contacts.
  
• help members protect the value and prestige of Lordships of the Manor and feudal Baronies
  
• assist members in using their Lordship/Barony with confidence
  
• encourage charitable activities
  
• educate the public about the realities of manorial titles and manorial title law
  
• combat abuses of manorial status and titles
  
• encourage the study and celebration of England's feudal history and heritage
